What’s a good way to keep vegetables and fruit fresh in the refrigerator?

It seems like I throw out more fruits and vegetables than we eat because they spoil so quickly. Does anyone have any hints for making them last longer?

What are the worst vegetables that I can consume for the health of the environment?

Hi I am a vegetarian and I live in Ontario. I was wondering, what is the worst vegetable/fruit I could consume that is the most damaging to the environment? I ask because I want to be friendly to mother nature but I realize that a lot of vegetables/fruits come from monocropping/clear cutting and produce pollution from traveling long distances. thanks
i also want to avoid eating stuff that are monocropped

Do the types of vegetables and fruits affect the voltage generated by electrodes?

My friends and I are doing a experiment for our Chemistry class and we were wondering if using different vegetables and fruits would affect the voltage generated by copper and zinc electrodes.

I told my friends I didn’t think so because as long as an electrolyte is present, the electrons will be able to move through the salt bridge (lemon juice in the lemon, acid in the vegetable or fruit, etc.) and conduct electricity. The voltage output should depend on the type of metal and its electronegativity.

Am I right?
