How do I make frozen vegetables interesting?
I usually buy a big bag of californian blend vegetables (cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, etc…) I’m tired of stir-frying and steaming them with butter and pepper. How can I make them tasty and appetizing?
Oh, I’m also sick of pasta… Great answers so far though
boil them, then add butter or cheese sauce or you can put garlic, black pepper, and salt, will taste so much better,
It adds calories but add your favorite salad dressing when they are warm. You can add cheese also or turn them into a casserole with cream of mush. soup and Durkeys fried onions.
add watermelon
Add them to pasta for either a warm or cool pasta salad. Add a vinagarette (like italian) and presto.
you could try cook them with some ramen noodles (break up the noodles) and use just a little of the season packet.
Buy individual frozen Vegetables and mix as you would wish for flavour and colour (English spelling) Do not over cook and if you are doing a stir fry, add the spaghetti once boiled to the pan to soak in flavours and serve.
Try adding some minced garlic, fresh herbs, cheese sauce or italian dressing. You can also make a cheesy broccoli/cauliflower casserole.

you need to invest in Ms.Dash seasonings! they come in about 5 blends and they are salt and fat free! the ones I have in my kitchen are MS DASH original blend, GARLIC & HERB, LEMON PEPPER blend and SOUTHWEST CHIPOTLE blend. i love them all! the garlic and herb would go great with green beans or spinach. the lemon pepper would go great with broccalli, cauliflower and carrots. the southwest chipotle would go great with corn on the cob. enjoy! (gee i should be compensated for this endorsement! lol)
