How do you cook your frozen vegetables?

I want to start cooking frozen vegetables, but without an overabundance of fat and sodium. How do you prepare yours? I am mostly thinking like green beans and corn, but I’d love to hear other ideas. Canned green beans are getting old and boring (not to mention the sodium content is very high).
